District 12
State Senator Bob Gardner (R) represents Sen. District 12 in Colorado Springs/El Paso County. He previously served in the Colorado House from 2007-2014 and was elected to the Senate in 2016. Sen. Gardner chairs the Senate Judiciary Committee and serves on the Appropriations, Education, and Local Government Committees. Sen. Gardner continues to practice law, emphasizing federal government contracts, business and regulatory law, and education law focused on charter schools. He is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and received his law degree from the University of Texas. He also holds an LL.M. in Federal Procurement Law from The George Washington University.
