Melissa Barnes is a Michigander who has lived in Colorado for over 30 years. She has two grown children (a son and a daughter) who she enjoys spending time with when life allows. In her 15 years with Colorado State Judicial, Melissa has been a key player at the Denver Probate Court. Has served on committees and as a liaison in her tenure. Melissa contributed to the implementation of the electronic file management system during the 2003 pilot program. She continues her commitment in service in her role as a Specialist and team supervisor where she continues to grow and expand her knowledge and be a part of the advances in technology and the Judicial Department. She is excited to be on this panel, happy to build on the good of the Elder Law - Judicial relationship.
