Nancy Susan “Susie” Germany, Esq., of the Germany Law Firm, P.C. is an AV Rated attorney. Ms. Germany is an ACTEC Fellow and member of the Special Needs Alliance and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. She has published articles in the Colorado Lawyer and NAELA Journal and co-chaired the Elder Law Retreat planning committee for many years. Her practice focuses in the areas of fiduciary representation, special needs planning, elder law, guardianships and conservatorships, trust and estate planning, probate, and trust administration. She also serves as a private fiduciary, consultant and expert witness. She has taught many continuing legal education courses for the Colorado Bar Association and various national organizations on issues related to probate, special needs planning, elder fraud and exploitation and ethics. Ms. Germany is also a past co-chair of the Elder Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association and was co-chair of the Elder Law Retreat Planning Committee for many years. A Colorado native, she received her bachelor's degree from Pacific Lutheran University and her law degree from the University of Arkansas, Little Rock. She is a member of the Alaska, Wyoming and Colorado Bar Associations.
