Ian Kalmanowitz, Esq., is the managing partner of Cornish & Dell’Olio, P.C., a Colorado Springs law firm handling only employment law matters.  Mr. Kalmanowitz has worked for the firm since July 2000 and is licensed to practice in all Colorado state and federal courts, and in the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.  He graduated from the University of Colorado School of Law and Binghamton University, cum laude.  He practices exclusively in the area of employment law and litigation, with an emphasis on litigation of claims involving employment discrimination, hostile work environment, wage and hour issues, wrongful termination, employment-related torts, free speech, and other claims for violations of Constitutional rights.  Mr. Kalmanowitz focuses his practice on the representation of employees but has also represented select employers in employment litigation.  Mr. Kalmanowitz is an experienced litigator, having tried more than two dozen employment cases to verdict in state and federal court, and served as lead counsel in more than a dozen of those trials.  In addition, he has litigated numerous cases through judgment in private arbitration with the American Arbitration Association and the National Arbitration Forum.  Mr. Kalmanowitz has also tried numerous cases for federal and state employees in the Merit System Protection Board, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the Colorado State Personnel Board.  Mr. Kalmanowitz is a member of the Board of Directors of the Colorado Plaintiff Employment Lawyers Association (PELA) and the former President of PELA.  He is also a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association, the Colorado Bar Association, a trustee of the El Paso County Bar Association and the co-chair of the employment law section.
