Francesca MacDowell, Esq., has been writing briefs for the United States District and Circuit courts for almost 25 years, currently as the owner of MacDowell Law, P.C. In her attorney infancy she clerked for a United States Magistrate Judge for 13 years, where she first learned of Social Security disability cases. She has written more than 1,000 briefs, most of them resulting in remands, and a few in outright reversals. She has presented workshops on various disability topics, including practice and procedure in the federal courts, ethics, and representation of children in disability claims. Francesca is a sustaining member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives, a member of NADR, and is a member of the New Mexico Social Security Attorney's Association.
