Barbara Barron Kelly, a leader in understanding the needs of the trademark practice, has over 25 years of experience in the industry. In her current role, she develops strategy for market development across North America, including by planning new client onboarding, training and support regimens, and ongoing client lifecycle development across the market. Barb joined Corsearch in August of 2004 as Regional Sales Manager for the US Midwest before leading global client services and product support.. She was formerly the Regional Manager & Director of Customer Training and also spent more than eight years as an account manager at Thomson & Thomson, where she engaged with many corporations and law firms to meet their complex needs in trademark strategies in US and foreign markets. Prior to that, she managed the worldwide trademark portfolio for Helene Curtis, Inc. and worked at the IP law firm Ladas & Parry LLP. In continuing engagements since 1996, Barb has taught US and foreign trademark concepts at John Marshall Law School in Chicago and presented guest lectures on related topics at several highly respected law schools in the region, including Northwestern, DePaul, and Marquette universities. A longtime member of the INTA, currently working on the Leadership Committee and was past Chair for Trademark Administrator's Programming Committee. Barb resides in Chicago with husband Peter and 4 children: Jack, Rosie, Kevin, and Bridie Kelly.
