Carla J. Hoke, Esq., is a Legal Analyst/Policy Advisor for the Business and Licensing Division of the Colorado Secretary of State's office. She practiced federal Indian law for over ten years at Fredericks Peebles & Morgan LLP in Louisville, Colorado. Her work encompassed counseling Indian tribes and tribal members in a wide variety of areas, including housing law, employment law, environmental regulation, and tribal governance. She received both a B.A. in Anthropology and a J.D. from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Ms. Hoke also earned an M.A. in Anthropology from the University of California at Berkeley.
