Chris Wells is a digital forensic examiner, cyber-investigator, and digital evidence consultant, as well as the founder and principal of Scout Computer Forensics. He holds highly-regarded certifications in computer forensics, cell phone forensics, vehicle system forensics, cybersecurity, and the law of data security and investigations. He is an active member of the Professional Private Investigators Association of Colorado (PPIAC), Colorado Society of Private Investigators (CSPI), Colorado Criminal Defense Bar (CCDB), Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI), High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA), and the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists (IACIS). Chris received an undergraduate degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado - Boulder. With over 35 years' experience in the IT industry, Chris is well-known for his ability to explain complex technical topics in simple ways; he has presented at the local, state, and national level on digital forensics and cybersecurity.
