Mr. McNulty has experience litigating civil rights cases, specifically those involving the First, Fourth, Eighth, and Fourteenth Amendments. He works tirelessly to protect the civil and constitutional rights of all. Prior to relocating to Colorado, Mr. McNulty was a Jay A. Pritzker fellow at the ACLU of Missouri. As a fellow, Mr. McNulty litigated First Amendment cases on behalf of protesters and reporters who took to the streets in the wake of the shooting death of Michael Brown, helped bring marriage equality to Missouri, protected the rights of the incarcerated, and advocated for greater government transparency in the administration of the death penalty. While attending Northwestern University School of Law, Mr. McNulty fought to bring comprehensive reform to the Cook County Jail and the Illinois parole system as a student in the Bluhm Legal Clinic's MacArthur Justice Center and provided free legal services to students and parents at schools on Chicago's south and west side. Mr. McNulty
has also campaigned for prison, education, and juvenile justice reform in the Deep South through legal action and advocacy as an intern with the Southern Poverty Law Center. Before attending law school, Mr. McNulty served the St. Louis community as a member of the Americorps program in which he tutored and mentored second grade students at Dunbar Elementary and operated a winter warming shelter.
