Phi-Hang Tran, Esq., is the Director of eDiscovery for Ryley Carlock & Applewhite's Document Control Group, which provides eDiscovery consulting services and managed review for corporations, law firms, government and public sector clients. Before joining the firm, Phi practiced law for more than 10 years for mid-size and boutique litigation firms in Texas in the areas of commercial litigation, oil and gas, medical malpractice, and insurance defense. Phi transitioned to legal technology and has consulted for AMLaw 200 firms and Fortune 500 corporations for the last eight years. As a former litigation attorney, Phi draws from her background in litigation, eDiscovery consulting, technology and data privacy, project management, and her managed attorney review experience to help clients develop and implement best practices and defensible cost-effective solutions for their litigation discovery and eDiscovery needs. Phi is the current Denver Chapter Director of Women in eDiscovery (WIE) and is actively involved in both local and state bar associations in Colorado and Texas. She is a frequent speaker on eDiscovery and related topics at professional legal organizations and industry conferences around the country.
