Laura Lunn, Esq., is Director of Advocacy & Litigation at Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network (RMIAN). Laura works to increase public awareness about how the U.S. immigration system functions and advocates for ways to make it more humane, with a focus on ending the use of immigration detention and ensuring that every person in removal proceedings has access to no-cost legal representation. Laura practices removal defense and engages in federal litigation before U.S. district and circuit courts. She also teaches an Asylum Law & Advocacy Practicum at the University of Denver - Sturm College of Law. Prior to joining RMIAN, Laura clerked as an Attorney Advisor for the El Paso Immigration Courts, worked in private practice, and represented mothers and children subjected to family detention.
