Jennifer M. Smith manages a full-service immigration firm in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. She is the past chair of the AILA Colorado Chapter. She received her B.A. in international relations from Connecticut College and her law degree from the University of Colorado School of Law, both with honors. She is actively involved in the community, volunteering her time to organizations working to protect immigrant rights, and providing pro bono or low-cost legal aid on immigration issues. She is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and the Ninth Judicial District Bar Association. She regularly lectures on immigration issues and provides public outreach for media sources. She received the 2010 Jackie Morales Distinguished Award for Community Service and the 2013 Athena International Young Professional Award.
