Vorys Sater Seymour & Pease LLPReginald “Reggie” W. Jackson is a partner at Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP in Columbus, Ohio, where he is a member of its bankruptcy practice. He has represented secured creditors, chapter 11 debtors, trustees, creditors' committees, equity-holders, asset-purchasers, vendors and suppliers. Mr. Jackson's practice also includes all aspects of commercial collections and workouts, including loan restructurings, forbearance arrangements, receiverships and foreclosures. Mr. Jackson is a former president of the American Bankruptcy Institute and is a fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy having been inducted as a member of its 12th class on March 30, 2001. He was named one of America's “Top Black Lawyers” by Black Enterprise Magazine and was formerly chairman of the ABA Conference of Minority Partners in Majority/Corporate Law Firms. Mr. Jackson is a past president of the Ohio State Bar Foundation and from 2003-07 was a member of the Board of Governors of the Ohio State Bar Association. Since 1995, he has been honored in Best Lawyers in America, and since 1994 he has been named an “Ohio Super Lawyer” and “Leading Lawyer” by Chambers and Partners. He has spoken on several occasions before the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges, ABI's Annual Spring Meeting and Winter Leadership Conference, the Southeastern Bankruptcy Law Institute and the Midwest Regional Bankruptcy Seminar on a variety of bankruptcy and restructuring topics. He earned his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
