Ronald B. Robie

Honorable Ronald B. Robie has been a member of the Court of Appeal, 3rd District, in California since 2002. Previously he served as a judge of the Municipal and Superior Courts of Sacramento County from 1983. Before that he had a career in water resources, serving as a Staff Director for the California State Assembly Water Committee, as a member and vice-chair of the State Water Resources Control Board and as Director of the California Department of Water Resources. He is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley (AB, MJ) and the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law (JD). He taught water and environmental law at that school for 43 years.
