William Mitchell College of LawA. Kimberly Dayton, Esq., is an Emerita Professor of Law and Of Counsel to the firm of Long, Reher, Hanson & Price in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She taught for 18 years at the University of Kansas School of Law and for nine years at William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. Dayton is a member of the Special Needs Alliance and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and served as a member of the Board of Directors for NAELA from 2009-13. She is a co-author of Advising the Elderly Client (Thomson West 2016) and Elder Law: Readings, Cases and Materials (4th ed. Carolina Academic Press 2015), and editor of Comparative Perspectives on Adult Guardianship (Carolina Academic Press 2014). Dayton is a co-author of NAELA's weekly eBulletin, a compendium of news and cases of interest to elder law practitioners.
