Teresa . Vargas
Teresa M. Vargas joined the U.S. Department of Health and Humans Services, Office of the General Counsel, in 2000. Prior to becoming an Assistant Regional Counsel, Ms. Vargas worked as a Medicare Managed Care Specialist at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. While Ms. Vargas’ practice focuses on representing CMS, she also handles administrative tort claims filed under the Federal Tort Claims Act and provides litigation support to U.S. Attorney Offices in tort cases filed in federal court. Ms. Vargas is a graduate of DePaul University College of Law and the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
