Clare J. McKendry

Clare McKendry, Esq., formerly worked for the Legal Aid Society in New York City for their Parole Revocation Defense Unit as a law graduate, where she defended clients accused of violating the terms of their parole. She graduated from Santa Clara University's School of Law in May 2015 in Santa Clara, CA. During her time in law school she worked on several innocence and death row habeas cases before moving on to trial level work, when she worked for the Santa Clara County Public Defender's Office in their juvenile and misdemeanor units. She also worked for a San Jose based nonprofit, Fresh Lifelines for Youth, where she taught a “know your rights” style course to youth in the maximum-security units of Santa Clara County Juvenile Hall. She is currently employed by TEENS, Inc., a Nederland based nonprofit, for whom she works as a teacher and transition specialist at Lookout Academy, the school located at Lookout Mountain Youth Services in Golden, CO.
