Robert (Bob) McCauley of McCauley - Shivers LLC is a professional fiduciary and certified mediator. Bob has held court appointments as conservator, receiver, trustee, agent under powers of attorney and personal representative of decedent estates. He serves as mediator for both court ordered as well as voluntary mediation. In addition to serving as a fiduciary and mediator, Bob mentors those new to the fiduciary profession as well as young lawyers who wish to offer fiduciary services as part of their legal practice. His emphasis is always on the pragmatics. Having served as a professional fiduciary for 33 years and a certified mediator since January 2004, the single most common element in both Bob's fiduciary and mediation work is the significantly dysfunctional family. Bob holds a strong belief and commitment that no family is so dysfunctional and no problem so difficult that satisfactory resolution is always a possibility and a most honorable goal.
