Joseph Orrino, Esq., is counsel to numerous nonprofits. Most of his nonprofit clients are public charities, including schools and universities. He advises on governance, employment, and development issues. In addition to providing counsel for operational needs, he represents nonprofit devisees and beneficiaries in complex or contested estate and trust administrations and litigation. In addition to public charities, he also helps form, obtain tax-exempt determinations for, and advises 501(c)(5) and (c)(6) organizations. Joe has a special interest in representing religious organizations. Joe was born and raised in south metro Denver, and obtained his B.A. at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas, and his J.D. at the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Joe volunteers as a fellow for the Napa Legal Institute, and is a director for Sophia Montessori Academy in Denver. Prior to private practice, Joe was in-house with two private companies.
