Spencer Rubin, Esq., is an associate in the Boulder office. Mr. Rubin represents emerging and established companies in technology and intellectual property transactions, including the licensing of proprietary software and cloud platforms, the commercialization of data products, the monetization of brands through an array marketing and advertising agency transactions, and the protection of personal information through the application of the privacy and security standards that today's global markets demand. Mr. Rubin has worked with clients to structure and negotiate hundreds of unique technology and intellectual property transactions, including technology and data transfers; reseller, manufacturer and other distribution channel agreements; intellectual property and technology-based mergers and acquisitions; IT consulting arrangements; marketing, advertising, and co-branding deals; and consumer-facing e-commerce transactions. Mr. Rubin's experience spans a range of industries, including telecommunications, entertainment, healthcare, consumer packaged goods, private-public partnerships, and industrial manufacturing. Mr. Rubin also counsels clients on the applicability of data privacy laws and regulations to their transactions, including the California Consumer Privacy Act and the General Data Protection Regulation.
