Bill . Wallisch

Dr. Bill Wallisch, since retiring as a professor of English and technical communication at the United States Air Force Academy, Dr. Wallisch consults to business organizations around the world on powerful communication strategies and championship teamwork. Where many cultures are brought together under one brand, clear communication is critical. In the case of one global organization, one company gathered together senior associates from Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Spain, and the UK in Brussels where Bill conducted special sessions of Strategic Communication and Presentation Dynamics. The idea was to get everyone in that global, multi-cultural organization to successfully use the Main-Point formula in both writing and speaking. Selected clients include Abbott Laboratories, Avery Dennison, Brightidea, Cargill, Coca-Cola, Conagra, General Mills, Herbalife, Honeywell, Interpol, Land O' Lakes, Medtronic, Morton Salt, Nestle, Rolls-Royce, Starbucks, The Colorado Courts, Unilever, the US Department of Justice, the US White House, and Wrigley. He also trains NASA, European Space Agency, and Japanese Space Agency astronauts. A recognized pioneer in virtual communication, he takes his sessions to such locations as China, Europe, India, and Korea, through Distance Learning (DL) video conferencing. As a member of several official U.S. delegations, Bill spoke to government and business organizations in Eastern Europe and Russia on the subject of "Communicating in a Shrinking World." He was a delegate to the first White House Conference on Eastern Europe.  Bill's many publications and speeches have earned him an array of honors - among them recognition by the Society of Government Communicators and the Society for Technical Communication. The U. S. Marshals Service named him "Citizen of the Year" in 1992 for his field work with (FIST) Fugitive Investigative Strike Teams.  His degrees include a Bachelor of Arts in English from Allegheny College, a Master of Arts in Communication from the University of Oklahoma, a Doctor of Education from the University of Southern California, and a Doctor of Systems Management from Colorado Technical University. He was an American Council on Education Fellow at the University of Pittsburgh. Bill lives in Colorado and is a Ski Patroller in the Rocky Mountains.  Contact: [email protected]
