Robert C. Petrulis (“Bob”) is a shareholder of Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C., with more than 45 offices, located in 27 states, the District of Columbia, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Europe, and Mexico. In 2001, Bob was in the first group of attorneys in Ohio to be certified as a “Specialist” in Employment and Labor Law by the Ohio State Bar Association. Bob's current focus is on litigation of employment discrimination matters and effective supervision and management of clients and their portfolios of matters. Bob has particularly enjoyed successfully handling employment cases that have “morphed” into other practice areas. Examples include successfully defending a client's manager in a trial that arose from false criminal allegations made to leverage a former employee's civil case and successfully defending a public sector client's board member from “civil stalking” and contempt of court charges.
