Deirdra O'Gorman is a Senior Financial Services Executive with more than 20 years of experience leading both senior and junior professionals, organizing and executing new initiatives, and building profitability. Prior to working with The Fourth Corner Credit Union as a consultant and Chief Executive Officer, she had been working as a consultant to aid banks and cannabis organizations in developing financial best practices and cultivating strategic planning within their companies. Ms. O'Gorman started her banking career as a teller and worked her way up to hold various leadership provisions, such as Market President for a nationally chartered bank, First National Bank of Colorado, a division of First National Bank of Omaha, with $17 billion in assets; Colorado Senior Vice President of Sales and Service for a federal savings bank, Liberty Savings Bank; and most recently, a Senior Executive Officer with one of the 50 largest state- chartered credit unions in the United States, Bellco Credit Union, second largest in Colorado, with $2.9 billion in assets. During her career, she effectively managed teams exceeding 125 people with 32 direct reports; 17 business units and have cross-trained employees at all levels to increase sales and organizational performance. Ms. O'Gorman was recently asked by the Governor of Colorado to participate in the Biennial of the Americas Drug Policy panel, an international think-tank that brings together business, art, culture and civic leaders to address shared issues and to inspire action. She participated in the Clinton Global Foundation and worked to create a program to help create financial awareness strategies for underserved populations. She has also chaired the Metro North Leadership Program and has volunteered her time at many local non-profits.
