Ronald G. Carbaugh, PsyD, obtained his BA degree in Psychology from the University of Missouri in 1977, and his M.Ed. degree in Counseling from the University Missouri in 1978.  After working for several years in the substance abuse treatment field has been involved in the evaluation and treatment of chronic pain patients and injured workers within the Colorado Workers' Compensation system since 1984.  At that time he began with the Boulder Pain Control Center, under the direction of Dr. Richard Stieg.  In 1987 he returned to the University of Denver where he obtained his Psy.D. degree, completing the requirements for licensure as a psychologist in the state of Colorado in 1993.  He is currently in private practice treating physical and psychological trauma victims, chronic pain patients, and injured workers.  Since 1984 Dr. Carbaugh has evaluated and treated approximately 6000 patients with various medical and psychological difficulties.
