Denver Probate Court
Stephanie Kunkel studied at Central Penn College (formerly known as Central Pennsylvania Business School) earning her Associate in Science Decree in Paralegal Studies.  She worked in Pennsylvania as a Victim Witness Coordinator for the Berks County District Attorney's office before relocating to Colorado.  Her career with the Colorado Judicial Department began in 1999 as a deputy court clerk in Arapahoe County; she then transferred into the Denver District Court where she was the assistant division clerk for Judge Robert L. McGahey, Jr.  In the fall of 2001 she began her position as the division clerk the (former) Magistrate Elizabeth Leith handling the post-decree, domestic docket.  She moved to Denver Probate Court when Judge Leith was appointed to the Denver Probate Court bench in July of 2011.  Stephanie was promoted to the position of Protective Proceedings Monitor in August 2012, a position which she currently holds.   When not in the office, you can find Stephanie enjoying time with her husband, son and their 2 Jack Russell Terriers somewhere in the mountains jeeping, camping or snowboarding.
