James Nechleba, Esq., graduated from the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Law in 2010 and has spent the past eight years serving in various capacities within the public and private legal community.  A former hearing officer for the Colorado Department of Revenue's (DOR) Hearings Division, James presided over and decided more than two thousand hearings directly affecting individuals' driving privileges. Since leaving the Hearings Division and joining the Tiftickjian Law Firm, P.C. in 2016, James has developed a niche in civil administrative litigation practice and regulatory defense.  As the firm's and the defense bar's point-person for DOR issues, James has been published in “Colorado DUI Defense: The Law and Practice,” was personally selected to draft the Supreme Court Amicus Curiae brief on behalf of the defense bar for Colo. Dep't of Revenue v. Rowland, won several appeals to the District Court from DOR-based revocation hearings, and has taught several CLE's to the defense bar on DOR litigation practice.
