Angela . Onwuachi-Willig
University of Iowa College of LawProfessor Angela Onwuachi-Willig, is a graduate of Grinnell College, the University of Michigan Law School, and Yale Graduate School of Arts and Science, Angela Onwuachi-Willig is the Charles and Marion Kierscht Professor of Law at the University of Iowa. She is author of the book According to Our Hearts: Rhinelander v. Rhinelander and the Law of the Multiracial Family (Yale University Press). Her articles have appeared in or are forthcoming in many prestigious law journals, including the Yale Law Journal, California Law Review, Michigan Law Review, Georgetown Law Journal, Texas Law Review, UCLA Law Review, and Vanderbilt Law Review. She was recently award the 2015 AALS Minority Groups Section Clyde S. Ferguson Award. She is a past recipient of the Derrick Bell, Jr. Award and Marion Huit Award, is a former Iowa Supreme Court finalist, and has been placed on the National Law Journal's “Minority 40 under 40” list and Lawyers of Color “50 Under 50” List.
