Jane Greenman is currently President of the National Executive Service Corps, a management consulting organization focused on the nonprofit community.  Prior to assuming this role, Ms. Greenman served as Vice President, Worldwide Human Resources of CommVault Systems, Inc, a high growth software company headquartered in Oceanport, New Jersey, where she developed a strategic global human resources function, including recruiting, talent development and retention, HR process improvement, performance management, compensation and employee communications and as Executive Vice President, Global Human Resources, of Barr Pharmaceuticals, where she led all aspects of worldwide human resources following Barr's first acquisition of non-US operations.  Before joining Barr, she spent five years at Tyco International as Vice President, Compensation, Benefits and Labor Relations, and seven years at Honeywell International as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, Human Resources, with broad responsibility for developing legal strategy and compliance worldwide in all employee-related areas.  Her responsibilities at Honeywell included labor and employment law, litigation and compliance, employee benefits and compensation, as well as HR and benefits aspects of corporate transactions.  Before assuming these corporate roles, Ms. Greenman was a partner and chair of the Employee Benefits practice at the law firm of Hughes Hubbard & Reed.  She has also served as an independent consultant to businesses and not for profit organizations on a broad range of organizational, benefit and compensation issues. Ms. Greenman is a graduate of Cornell University's College of Industrial and Labor Relations  and New York University School of Law, J.D.; L.L.M. - Labor Law. Ms. Greenman has been on the faculties of New York University School of Law, Brooklyn Law School and Hofstra Law School, teaching courses in employee benefits, pension rights and legal writing. She has testified before Congress and has written and lectured extensively about issues such as retiree medical benefits, potential employer liabilities arising from managed care, employers' managed care and HMO contracting strategies, COBRA, employee and benefits issues arising in corporate transactions, HR legal issues in global M&A transactions, international benefits, labor and employment issues, benefit planning for both large and closely-held businesses, retirement plan aspects of estate planning, ethical issues in labor and employment and workplace harassment. She was formerly Chair of the ERISA Industry Committee, a Washington D.C. based organization representing the interests of the largest American corporations, and a member of the Board of Directors of American Benefits Council.  In 2000, Ms. Greenman was elected to be a charter fellow of the American College of Employee Benefits Counsel. Ms. Greenman is a Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of New York City Outward Bound Schools, National Executive Service Corps and Brooklyn Workforce Innovations, a job training organization for underserved New York City residents as well as a member of the Friends Board of Saving the Next Generation.
