Amber M. Naiman
CLARK HILLAmber Niaman, Esq., is an innovative and diligent transactional attorney specializing in advising business teams and individuals on operations, commercial, transactional, regulatory, licensing and compliance legal issues unique to highly regulated industries. Prior to joining FNC, she worked as an associate attorney at Drew Gottlieb, P.C., where she advised owners, investors, and other associated individuals and entities on a wide range of corporate, regulatory, and licensing matters. Amber mainly serves as outside counsel for business clients, providing advisement and support through the entire business cycle from choice of entity formation, growth acquisitions and financing, to transfers and sale of businesses. Amber was born and raised in the Greater Toronto Area. She graduated from the University of Guelph in Guelph, Ontario with a Bachelor's of Commerce degree. Before obtaining a joint JD-LL.M in International Business Transactions, from the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law. Amber took a position in the University of Guelph's, Agricultural and Economics Department, where, under the supervision of Professor Maury Bredahl assisted in composing a publication for presentation titled "Canadian Bilateral Trade Agreements: Drivers, Pressures, and Constraints", discussed at the 2012 International Agricultural Trade Research Consortium (IATRC) Annual meeting, which analyzed economic theory and free trade agreements between Canada and its trading partners. Amber's significant involvement in highly regulated industries and experience handling regulatory and compliance provides a unique perspective advantageous to individuals and business alike, looking for with the foundation and ability to enter, grow and prosper in emerging markets. Ms. Naiman, was also a panelist at the Second Annual Venture Law Summits (2019) discussing new and emerging cannabis ventures, hurdles to industry entry, capital raising in the cannabis industry and other industry related topics and issues.
