BethAnne Yeager, Esq., practiced qui tam/false claims act law, representing relators throughout the U.S. from 2004 until happily retiring last year. A qui tam highlight was the settlement of a drug fraud case against Merck for $400 million. For that, she and her two colleagues on the case, Steven H. Cohen and Mark A. Kleiman, received the Taxpayers Against Fraud Lawyer of the Year award in 2008. Prior to her qui tam practice, she represented plaintiffs in employment discrimination, civil rights and consumer fraud cases. In 1998, she was named a finalist with Mark Kleiman for the Trial Lawyer of the Year Award by Trial Lawyers for Public Justice.
