George Washington Law SchoolProfessor Michael Selmi is the Samuel Tyler Research Professor at George Washington University Law School where he teaches courses on employment discrimination and employment law. A prolific author, Professor Selmi is the co-author on three casebooks, including the leading Employment Discrimination Casebook now in its 8th Edition, as well as more than fifty articles in law reviews and other venues, and has been recognized as one of the most cited authors in his field. He is a frequent media commentator and prior to entering academia he clerked for then Chief Judge James R. Browning on the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, and handled employment discrimination cases first at the Justice Department and later for the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights.
