Jonathan Schneider is a Partner at Stinson Leonard Street in Washington, DC, and Chair of the firm's Energy Regulation Practice Group. He has been practicing law for over 30 years, first in New York City and later in Washington. For most of that time, he has focused on regulated industries, principally the electric and gas industries. Jon played a central role in competitive restructuring of the natural gas pipeline industry in the 1990s. He has been in the thick of major infrastructure transactions, and is now closely involved in energy policy matters before the Department of Energy and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Jon is President-Elect of the Energy Bar Association, representing roughly 2000 energy attorneys nation-wide.
