Angela Borkowski, Esq., is an Assistant County Attorney for the Douglas County Department of Human Services and is the attorney assigned to adult protection cases. Prior to Douglas County, Angela was in this same role with El Paso County. Angela began her career as a social worker after graduating from the Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2007 with a Bachelor’s in Social Work, then from the University of Denver in 2008 with a Master’s in Social Work. Angela worked as a caseworker, residential staff member, adoption recruiter and clinical consultant prior to attending law school. Angela graduated from Sturm College of Law in 2016 and has continued her work in adult and child protection law since that time. Angela’s passion is protecting the most vulnerable members of our communities and she is grateful that her professional history has allowed her to do this in many ways.
