Joanne Sherwood has built a solid career and reputation in the banking and financial services industry, with an emphasis on business management, real estate financing, and construction lending. She has been with Citywide since 2000. As Division President, she has contributed significantly to the growth of Citywide. Joanne has extensive training and work experiences in the areas of bank operations, loan portfolio management, and strategic planning. She also serves as a mentor to up-and-coming lenders at Citywide. She earned her Bachelors degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from California State University at Fullerton and an MBA from Pepperdine University. Joanne is very involved in the community. She is on the associate board of the Boys and Girls Club of Denver which serves over 2,000 “at risk” kids every day by providing a safe supportive environment after school. She is also involved with Arrupe Jesuit High School, a college preparatory school serving economically disadvantage students from Denver's inner-city neighborhoods. Joanne has strong ties to construction and real estate trade organizations and is currently a board member for the Home Builder's Association of Metro Denver. Joanne wants her business customers to feel like they have someone that they can really rely on; someone who is a true partner of their business and wants to make it a success. Her goal is to provide business customers with the very best resources to make achieving their goals a reality.
