Bailey Pompea, Esq., is currently Senior Counsel with the law firm of Michael Best & Friedrich, LLP. She practices general civil litigation in both state and federal courts in Colorado, with a focus in bankruptcy, commercial, insurance and construction litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Bailey practiced civil litigation in the Bay Area, California, where she was successful in litigating complex cases and negotiating favorable settlements in both court and arbitral proceedings. After moving back to Denver, she now primarily represents individuals and small businesses in all phases of commercial and bankruptcy litigation, including through arbitration and trial. Bailey's bankruptcy practice focuses on representation of both Debtors and Creditors in Chapter 11 reorganization cases and Chapter 7 liquidations. In particular, she handles adversary, avoidance and dischargeability litigation, as well as litigation concerning Chapter 11 plans of reorganization.
