Joshua Kirkpatrick, Esq., is a Shareholder in the Denver office of Littler Mendelson, PC, the largest law firm in the country dedicated exclusively to the representation of management in employment and labor law matters.  Mr. Kirkpatrick's practice focuses on employment litigation and counseling. Mr. Kirkpatrick has represented employers in a wide range of areas of employment and labor law in federal and state court, in arbitration, before the National Labor Relations Board, before the Department of Labor and Colorado Department of Labor & Employment's Division of Labor, and before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and its counterpart state agencies. Additionally, Mr. Kirkpatrick has extensive litigation and employer counseling experience relating to state and federal wage and hour issues. Many of these cases have involved attempts by plaintiffs to obtain class or collective action treatment for their claims. Mr. Kirkpatrick's counseling practice includes drafting and advising employers regarding executive employment and compensation agreements as well as separation agreements. Mr. Kirkpatrick's practice also has a heavy emphasis on litigation involving trade secrets, non-compete agreements, and unfair competition.  Mr. Kirkpatrick received his B.A., summa cum laude, from the University of Memphis and his J.D. from the University of Michigan.
