Alan C. Martellaro
Colorado Division of Water Resources
Alan Martellaro, P.E., Division Engineer for Water Division 5 of the Colorado Division of Water Resources, oversees the administration the water and water rights of the Colorado River mainstem, and is a Colorado native from a Salida farming and ranching family. He is a graduate of Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He has worked for the Division of Water Resources in Glenwood Springs since 1981, first as a Hydrographer making stream measurements and maintaining stream gages, then moved into Water Administration as Assistant Division Engineer, and since October of 2000 as the Division Engineer.
