Jennifer B. Torrington
2nd Judicial District
Honorable Jennifer B. Torrington has served with distinction as a judicial officer in Denver since 2004. She has presided in domestic, criminal, civil, and juvenile divisions. She has dedicated much of her professional life to working with families and children involved with the judicial system. She was honored to receive the Distinguished Jurist Award from the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, Colorado Chapter, in April 2020. Judge Torrington has presented on issues related to domestic law and practice at the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, the Family Law Institute, and the Colorado Judicial Conference. She served for many years on the Colorado Child Support Commission and currently serves on the Licensed Legal Paraprofessionals (LLP) Subcommittee of the Colorado Supreme Court Advisory Committee and the Judicial Well-Being Committee. Judge Torrington enjoys mentoring new attorneys and law students.
