Perkins Coie LLPTodd Hinnen is currently a partner in Perkins Coie's privacy and data security group. Prior to joining Perkins, he headed the National Security Division at the U.S. Department of Justice. He has also served as Chief Counsel to then-Senator Joe Biden; Director for Combating Terrorism at the National Security Council; and a prosecutor in the U.S. Department of Justice's Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section. During his time at DOJ Todd represented the U.S. to the G8 Subgroup on High-Tech Crime and the Organization of American States Cybercrime Experts Group. Todd has taught at American University and will be co-teaching a course entitled "Modern Surveillance" this coming winter at Stanford Law School.
