Stacey J. Farmer
Grund Intellectual Property GroupStacey Farmer has been affiliated with GRUND Intellectual Property Group since its founding in 2006, where she advises on and procures European and U.S. intellectual property rights, primarily in the field of biotechnology and pharmaceuticals, related medical devices in addition to computer-implemented inventions pertaining to networks. She earned her Ph.D. from the Johns Hopkins University (Maryland, USA) in the field of neurosciences/biochemistry and her J.D. from Santa Clara University (California, USA). Prior to joining Grund IP Group, Dr. Farmer was an associate with Skadden Arps LLP (Palo Alto, California, USA), where she gained valuable experience procuring and managing patent portfolios for several leading technology companies in addition to undertaking transactional work, including transfer and licensing of IP assets. Dr. Farmer is also currently on several law school faculties where she regularly lectures on topics relating to U.S. & European law and procedures. She is also a co-author of several book chapters in addition to numerous publications, with particular focus on intellectual property matters.
