Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation CommissionStuart Ellsworth has over thirty years of experience. He has been with the Commission for 5 years, the last 3 year as the Engineering Manager. His responsibilities include managing a thirteen member staff, who review drilling permits, completion reports, workover plans, and abandonment procedures for COGCC regulation approval; consults with operators on well spacing orders and reservoir economics. Prior to working for the COGCC he worked for engineering and oil and gas companies throughout the Rocky Mountains, Mid-Continent, Saudi Arabia, and Algeria. He is a Colorado Professional Engineer and a Licensed Geologist with Bachelor of Science degrees in Geology and Civil Engineering with Petroleum Engineering Graduate studies at Colorado School of Mines.
