Colorado Department of LawKelsey Lesco, Esq., is the Colorado Student Loan Ombudsperson in in the Consumer Protection Section of the Colorado Attorney General’s Office. In this position Kelsey is responsible for overseeing the regulation, and licensing and registration of student loan servicers and private education lenders in Colorado, attempting to resolve Colorado student loan borrower complaints and concerns, and providing advice and recommendations on student loan policy matters. Prior to joining the Attorney General’s office, Kelsey worked as an attorney in older adult advocacy and mental health law, with a focus on public policy and institutional reform. Kelsey holds a law degree and a master’s degree in public administration.
