Jennifer L. Carty

Jennifer Carty, Esq., is an associate family law attorney at Robinson & Henry, P.C. She spent five years as a maritime inspections officer for the United States Coast Guard. Her strong sense of public service and regulatory compliance experience prompted her decision to attend law school. Prior to joining the R&H Team, Jennifer worked as an appellate law clerk for the Honorable Steven Bernard on the Colorado Court of Appeals. During her clerkship, she honed her legal research and writing skills and strengthened a passion for tackling novel and complex legal issues. Jennifer also worked briefly prosecuting misdemeanor crimes in El Paso County. During law school, Jennifer interned with the Denver District Attorney's Office, the Rocky Mountain Children's Law Center and the Colorado Juvenile Defenders Coalition. Jennifer has an informed understanding of the family dynamics of domestic violence, the impact of litigation on children and the court proceedings for criminal and protection order cases. Jennifer is a JAG Officer in the United States Coast Guard Reserve, a member of the CWBA Public Policy Committee, the LGBT Bar Association, the Denver Bar Association, and the Colorado Bar Association.
