Kent C. Modesitt, Esq., is an experienced litigator and the Founder and Chief Designer of Persuasion by Design, Ltd. (2016). Through PxD, Kent works with lawyers to Persuade Better—developing visual narratives for their case, and designing and producing demonstratives for motions, mediations, and trials. Prior to forming PxD, Kent spent over 16 years as a complex commercial trial lawyer, with Reilly Pozner LLP (2001-2014) and Jones & Keller P.C. (2014-2016). During that period, Kent realized the power of visuals when representing clients in state and federal courts in over 15 states, earning Best Lawyers in America® and Colorado Super Lawyers® recognition over multiple years. Kent also served as a law clerk for Chief Justice Mary J. Mullarkey, Colorado Supreme Court; graduated in the top 5% of his class at University of Denver Sturm College of Law; and served as Editor-in-Chief of the Denver University Law Review. Outside of his design and law experiences, Kent is a wood and metalwork artist and owner of Sedition Design Ltd. He is also an avid motorcyclist and outdoor adventurist, including completing a three-month, 2400-mile canoe expedition from Colorado to New Orleans atop the Poudre, Platte, Missouri, and Mississippi rivers.
