Andrea . LaFrance

Andrea LaFrance, Esq., anchors her intellectual property practice with deep analytical skills and a knack for research and concise legal writing. Her practice focuses on trademark, copyright and IP transactions and disputes. Prior to joining Brownstein, Andrea managed the trademark practice group at a Denver-based firm that assisted national trial counsel and general counsel to a range of tech companies in the United States and China. While there, she was second chair counsel on several important cases, including an inter partes review proceeding and an opposition proceeding before the U.S. Patent Trial & Appeal Board and an intellectual property appeal to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. While in law school, Andrea was the senior staff editor of the Denver University Law Review, a legal intern in the State Services Section of the Colorado Office of the Attorney General and a law clerk for Judge Robert L. McGahey Jr. in Colorado's 2nd Judicial District.
