Donna M. Stewart

The Honorable Donna M. Stewart serves as a Magistrate in Douglas County where she oversees a Domestic Relations matters. Raised in New Jersey before moving to Boise as a child, she brings a unique blend of East Coast sensibility and Western community values to her role. With twenty-three years of legal experience, Magistrate Stewart practiced in the areas of criminal law, domestic relations and juvenile law. As a graduate of The University of Denver she is passionate about access to justice and community outreach. She has previously served as president of the Douglas Elbert Bar Association. In addition to her judicial work, she serves as the Regional Coordinator for the Douglas Elbert Mock Trial Competition, helping to inspire the next generation of legal professionals. Outside the courtroom, she enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Bella and Max.
