Karen F. Hubler

2nd Judicial District
Honorable Karen F. Hübler is a Denver District Court Magistrate, handling domestic relations and child support matters since 2011. She received her undergraduate degree from Bryn Mawr College in 1987, was a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Central African Republic and graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 1997. A native New Yorker, she has lived in Colorado since 1998. She was a staff attorney at Colorado Legal Services for over ten years, representing indigent victims of domestic violence in domestic relations matters. She is a frequent lecturer and panelist at the Family Law Basic Skills Seminar. She also regularly serves as faculty for New CFIs and is a lecturer at the Annual New Judge Orientation for magistrates, as well as a lecturer at the Annual Colorado Judicial Conference. Magistrate Hubler regularly presents at the Colorado Bar Association Annual Family Law Institute and is a member of the Colorado Standing Committee on Family Law Issues. Magistrate Hubler is licensed in New York and Colorado. She enjoys knitting, cooking, and hiking.
