Heidi Storz, Esq., is a partner at Benson, Kerrane, Storz & Nelson, P.C. and has more than 16 years of experience in construction defect litigation. Heidi has assisted thousands of homeowners in resolving their construction defects disputes, either through settlement negotiations or trial. Over the years, Heidi has developed an in-depth understanding of the means and methods of construction which allows her to assemble and manage the most effective teams of forensic experts and, ultimately, to put her clients in the strongest negotiating positions possible. After the resolution of a case, Heidi maintains an on-going relationship with her clients and is available to serve as a resource during the restoration and repair process. Prior to attending law school, Heidi served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Belize, Central America where she worked with young adults and children who had experienced abuse. While in Belize, Heidi traveled to every high school in the country to conduct a baseline study quantifying the incidence of child abuse. Before serving in the Peace Corps, Heidi spent five years in Boulder, Colorado providing vocational services to adults with developmental disabilities and assisting those individuals to transitioning from institutions to their home communities. Outside of work, Heidi enjoys tending livestock, gardening, cooking, watching her sons play sports, and traveling as far and wide as possible.
