Randi M. Grassgreen, Esq., has provided legal counsel in the areas of sophisticated estate, wealth transfer, income tax and philanthropic planning to high-net-worth individuals and entrepreneurs for the past 25 years, currently as a partner at Hutchinson Black & Cook in Boulder. Randi complements her legal practice by working with high-net-worth families to sustain family wealth across generations and amplify impact through family governance best practices, next generation education and by serving in various advisory roles (such as a Trust Protector, board member of Private Trust Company, etc.) within their family structures. For the 12 years prior to joining HBC, Randi was a shareholder and Managing Director of Crestone Capital, a multi-family office headquartered in Boulder, and she continues to advise those families today. Prior to that, she was a partner at a boutique Denver based estate and tax planning firm. Randi began her career as a tax consultant and CPA with Ernst & Young in NYC and Denver. Randi has taught several courses at the University of Colorado School of Law as an adjunct professor (2008 to present), currently the Estate & Gift Tax Planning course. She earned her undergraduate degree and Master of Taxation at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado.
