Gregory T. Densen

Gregory T. Densen joined Sherman & Howard in 1998, and is a member in Sherman & Howard's Estate Planning and Administration Group. Mr. Densen's expertise is in family business succession and related high net worth estate planning and estate administration - GRATs/Sales to Grantor Trusts, family limited partnerships, IRS controversy, and court actions to resolve family conflict. Mr. Densen graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 1994 and from the University of Iowa with a J.D./M.B.A. in 1998. He has taught numerous courses for the Colorado Society of CPAs and presented at a variety of estate planning seminars. Recently, Mr. Densen has led efforts to bring a decanting statute to Colorado, coauthoring “Decanting in Colorado: Nothing to Wine About,” CBA Trust and Estate Member Newsletter, June 15, 2009, and chairing the Decanting Subcommittee of the CBA Trust and Estate Section Statutory Revisions Committee.
